New products from dormakaba’s renowned BEST brand offer additional security options, enhanced performance, and expanded functional versatility. Continuous Geared Hinges now include 15 new profiles for a true hospital tip solution, including a removable/replaceable quick connect and several solutions for 2” thick doors and doors/frames with a 3/32-inch frame inset.
BEST Continuous Geared Hinges are available in full mortise, half mortise, and half surface. Heavyweight and standard weight versions are available. Made of 6063-T6 aluminum, these hinges are easy to install and designed to last for the life of the building. These hinges feature heavy-duty bearings. The exact number of bearings varies depending on the product length ordered.
All models conform to the ANSI/BHMA A156-26- 1996, Grade 1 Standard. All have been tested and certified by UL to UL10C Standard.
